THE HONORARY PRIZE IS AWARDED by the Nordic Association of Schools of Social Work, to a person who has made outstanding contributions to the field with their work in the Nordic region.
This years winner of the NASSW honorary price has tirelessly, and with a strong ethical compass, dedicated her work to research on improving the lives of children and youths placed in society’s care, and with special focus on education and after-care.
She has headed several big research projects, created and participated in networks, both local and international, been active in the public debate and upheld a strong commitment to developing the quality of social work education.
And, last but not least, always strived to put the children and youths first and constantly grounded her research in, and disseminated it to, the practical and professional social work.
